alright! so i went out, took off the arm and even though the cam lobe is oblong, the arm can still be rotated ever so slightly. woooo case closed! thanks everyone.

yeah thanks man. i went out and pulled them off again to check and low and behold they can be adjusted ever so slightly. which was just enough. thanks again

1996 ranger xl.. upgraded to xlt? gauge/interior swap (seats/door panels). installed:k&n air filter, svt hood, black billet grille. weekend projects: power steering, carpet, customizing center console, 20in american racing wheels, gibson exhaust, fog light valence/fog lights, corner/head lights, different leaf springs i have.. drop the rear a little, rollpan (needs paint), tailgate latch relocator kit, shaving ford and ranger emblem(s)
