Default Fog lights

I have regular headlights but I have the "bumper" that has the spot for fog lights and I was thinking of putting some in. If I were to do so, how hard would it be? Could I just tie it into my headlights? Meaning I could just wire it so that the fog lamps turned on when my headlights turned on. I don't have any special modifications to my truck at all.

Just curious on what anyone thinks or advice on parts, etc.

I don't know how to do it (though if you search I think there is a how to), but I don't think having your fogs on anytime your heads come on is a great idea. I may be wrong, but if it were a good idea, then every car manufacturer would have them tied together from the factory.

There is a "How To" on that in the technical section.

I think that is a little far fetched. I mean if manufacturers put everything in a car that should be in a car, I think a lot of cars would be different. Like better exhaust, better parts, better tires, etc.
But thank you for the input.

I never said they should put everything in a car that (you) think should be in a car. I am saying if they have something in a car, they usually try to do it a way that actually makes sense. I didn't say if they wanted to make it top of the line they would do that. I said if it made sense to do it at all they would do it. Do you really think it's good to have your fogs on anytime your heads are on? If so, how come everyone who mods their trucks doesn't make it so their fogs come on?
