| | Noob headlight question.
I know I could probably eventually figure this out but you guys are great with quick responses with more info than I could possibly need haha.
Just curious as to how universal headlight bulbs are. I have the same old headlights that came with the truck back when I bought it but im looking for something a bit brighter. I dont know if halogen lights are the right but im looking for ones with more of a "white" light like the ones you see on newer cars these days. Anyone know what kind im talking about? And if so can I just go buy any old pair and swap em with my current ones?
Sorry again for the cluelessness of this post, just trying to get into my truck more so im learning slowly haha.
Thanks.

Oh ok local auto parts store has replacement bulbs. I use the phillips super whites and they are nice, pure white and has a ton of distance with the beams. They run in the area of 25.00 a pack, I recommend them for your fogs as well. Just look at the books they have it will tell you what bulb fits

I think the bulb you'd have is either 9004 or 9007.

nope just follow the guide book and it will tell you exactly what you need. It should be a 9007 bulb

Cause he wont have to ask a lot of questions like year make and model of the truck. And if they are for high or low beams. And Sylvania lights are awesome lights. I'm replacing my foglights with those.

I still have the factory bulbs in...6 yrs later. I've been saying that they suck and I need to replace them with something brighter, but I just keep coming up with other ways to spend $25
