Need a lil advice here before I pick what color i want for my hids. Im debating between 4300k/4500k (is there a real difference?) or 5000k. I like the stock hid look but how does 5000k do in the snow because I hear that 6000k throws off a wierd glare and not sure if 5000k will at all. Any advice is welcome.

alot of "luxury" vehicles come with 5k heads and 4300 fogs, no such thing as 4500. ive got 8k's in my heads and fogs though so im no help as to the glare issue

well on ddm's site theres no 4300k its just 4500k si i didnt know if there was buuut i think im goin more towards that 5000k. anyone have any pictures of their truck with 4300k and or 5000k?

there is a 4500k, i have installed both 4500 and 5000 on a ranger, theyre both similiar to pure white, but 4500k is the closest to stock

Honestly they're so similar, it doesn't matter. If you don't want ANY blue, get the 4500k. I like the blue, so I run 6 or 8k

7000k ones i had in my focus did great in the snow they were arctic white have a pic somewhere

theres no 7000k and it wouldnt be an "Arctic white" haha


just go with 4500k

all plugins are really poor, compared to a projector retrofit.

Do it right the first time and install a set of Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors.
