Almost wish I hadn't seen this because now I want to do it! Looks great! If you fish alot, Berkley makes rod holders that will hold your rods alot better while your driving, I have them in my truck.

For the top, you could always make something similar to a bimini top that they use on boats. It would give you added headroom when it is up, and can be folded down when you travel or have good weather.

The fishing rod holder doubles as a rifle rack, so those racks from berkley won't suit my needs. Good idea though!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I'm still working on an idea for the top. I will update this thread when I make more progress.

I like it. Down in Florida you'd have to staple some mosquito netting everywhere and enclose the whole thing so you don't lose a couple gallons of blood while you sleep.
