Default How to match exterior paint?

I would like to paint part of my bumper and grill to match the color of my truck. I have a '97 green ranger.
Where could I find paint that matches? I am aware of the dupli-color spray cans availible at autozone, but I have a sprayer and would like to take advantage of that.

On the driver's side door jam, there will be codes, one is your paint code. Then you can take it to a paint store and they usually have paint matching books.

That blue on my 89 is not factory they painted over the factory paint with a darker blue with sparkles, and I might add they did a horrible job at it

you can pay a body shop 2-300$ and then it will be the right shade and tint and nice and shinny

It's been a while since I last posted, but I have a follow-up question on this subject.

I went to the local auto paint store and they wanted over $200 for just a pint of paint and clear.

I am looking at ordering exact match paint from this site: Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories

Has anyone ever used this site before? and what were your results?

Just for the record, I am only painting the bumpers and bed cover, not the entire truck.

I have never used that site, but the site is safe to buy from. Seems like it's worth a shot.
