any write ups on putting the 01+ headlights, turnsignals and grille from an 01+ on a 97? teh truck im picking up sunday had this conversion started with the headlights. just want to know what it all requires.

i believe ive seen this done, i think you will prolly also need the fenders, hood and bumper, not just the grille, headlights and turn signals

Well 01 and 04 are pretty much the same, it just depends on the trim of the truck you're acquiring parts from. I say go for broke and go 06+.

well the truck already has the headlights mounted. not sure if the guy has all of the parts for the swap. just said he started the swap.

Unless he has an 01+ header panel, that's impossible. And the corner lights won't line up with the fenders either.

you need core support, fenders, header panel, lights, grill, hood, hood latch, etc.

thats a bigparts list. i will have all of the lights. so maybe down the road i will gather all of the parts needed.

yeah, it's pretty much all or nothing. once you have the 98+ core support and fenders, then you can go all the way to 2010 front ends without doing any other major work.

no you dont need a new hood, hood latch, fenders or any of that for an 01-03. if you go 04+ you will

its basically headlights, header panel, grill, the grill surround, and if you want, the bumper
