Default Completely Covered in Bedliner

I have had this idea for awhile and think it may turn out pretty good. I want to cover my entire truck in a white bedliner. I found a small company that makes a good kit. The texture is there but its not extreme unless you add the rubber additive. I would be spraying it on.

The reason I am choosing white is, well the truck is white now, but because of all the pictures Ive seen online, people use black, and its sparkles to much. With white I am hoping to get a nice matte look. My color scheme is will someday be flat white & flat black (wheels bumpers etc.)

My plan is to do my bed first in black, see how it turns out, and get some practice. Im choosing this because the prep compared to painting is way less, skill level to apply is less ( i believe), No dents, No paints chips, no scratches, and a simple power wash will do the trick!

Here is the product (small company, alot of jeep guys have used it)

All yellow, with a rubber crumb additive

All Black, Believe there is no additive

Expected texture

Opinions?

I dont think it would be possible to wax it, another way it would save me money.

Honestly, neither of those trucks look good to me. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

i would not do white! do you know how hard it is to clean black bedliner! I like the idea, not the color choice. Here is a nice gray:

Also, check this out btw:

Its nice DIY bedliner and it come in clear so you can add a base color to it for colormatched stuff

Cool Ill check that one out. Im leaning toward the original one I posted because it has a smoother texture, not that I want it like glass though. It would never look better than a nice shiny coat of paint, but it will always (hopefully) look better than shiny paint full of door dings, scratches, rock chips, and more. Even more of a push is that some one keyed a small SOH, basically tagging my trucks fender, in a parking garage. This city is just to brutal on vehicles from the extreme heat to dumb drivers as well as pedestrians, so I just want something I have no worries about

Also, I dont know how hard it is to clean black bedliner? I just assumed a pressure washer would be able to take care of any problems. It would not be heavily textured either so I would hope it wouldnt hold onto dirt to well.

This belongs to a customer of mine, he did the orange first, then taped it off and did the black.

That black an orange is sick! Ive been thinking about doing yellow or orange now. I think I may go with yellow. I am worried that if I do white, with time, the white will take a yellow tint from the sun and dirt. I know the yellow my fade eventually but at least it will still be yellow, plus I like yellow.

Well its pretty dry out here in Vegas. Not to much mud to worry about, it will mostly see sand and get dusty. However, road tar is my second concern. I plan on doing black inside the fenders and possilby under the rockers to help hide that nasty stuff.

Im starting to design a long travel front end and will be fabing it with my gf's dad. When its time to get glass fenders, thats when this stuff will go on. maybe....
