No Sway Bars
How many of you have taken your front sway bars off? How do you like the ride? Is there really any difference? Does it handle any different?

Re: No Sway Bars
When I drove with one 1 sway bar link broken for a day until I could fix it, I felt much more lean/roll on curves then after I fixed it.

Re: No Sway Bars
Is that a good or bad thing?

Re: No Sway Bars
well, itll fuck with how fast you can take a corner, and its technically harder to drive a vehicle with more body roll because it takes more effort to keep the vehicle in the lane

Re: No Sway Bars
I know that. I'm saying, did he like that or did he prefer to have the sway bar.

Re: No Sway Bars
i took both front and rear off mine and i really like the way it rides now. i notice a little more body roll but its nothing crazy even with the amount of lift i have. just know you will have to take it a little slower around corners. i wish i had taken mine off a long time ago. if you want to try it just take one of your stabilizer links out and drive it. if you hate it put the link back in.

Re: No Sway Bars
I take corners slow anyways. I try to be easy on my tires plus I have a huge sub box that likes to slide sometimes.

Re: No Sway Bars
What are you looking for? Do off road a lot? If so, removing the sway bar will help you with articulation.

Re: No Sway Bars
I personally preferred the handling with the sway bars on... but that's just me.

Re: No Sway Bars
I agree on the sway bar being left on but for an off-roader, no sway bar is the way to go.
