I had very minor static issues with my 55W hids, but not enough that I would complain about it. If the radio was cranked up and there was a quiet part of the song you could barely hear it with the headlights on. Mine were screwed in, but as I said, the static was less than being under a bridge.
I got my Jesus on the dashboard, but the Devil's under my hood!

I was using O-Nex HID lights. They work really well except for that interference part.
