I have owned this since new. Oiled professionally every fall. When I removed the box rail covers I found some serious rust on both rails over the rear tires. The only rust on my 2010 Ranger 4cyl. 5 speed. I sanded those areas and painted with rust paint but the rust came back almost immediately. So, what to do? I believe the rust is through the metal. Is the only solution to cut out those areas and put new metal in? Is there another alternative? Thanks, Dave

Rust Paint? The other alternative is to learn about proper auto body painting procedures.
