Well i totally understand keeping them on if they're necessary where you live, but all we get here in Texas is hot, dry 100+ degree weather lol

in your opinion. I didn't have them on my 96 ranger. we live on a dirt toad and it all but took off the paint within a year right behind the abbé well were they would have protected. I now have them on my 2010 and after a year there is no paint loss or pitting!

I went with some molded aftermarket ones from AutoZone since Ford no longer makes/sells the front mud flaps. That plastic nub they put in place of them doesn't cut it in my opinion, rock guard under layment or not. They are close to what the rear ones look like. Actually, compared to the OEM mud flaps, I think they look and are made better.

I doctored mine a little.




The front ones are a softer rubber and fit like they are molded right to the original fender flair. Perfect color match.
