Default Making my own PCB Multi-LED corners.

I'm going to be making a few sets of corners. I need to buy a few and open them up to separate the body from the lens so I can make a PCB LED circuit board and attach it inside.

Has anybody tried these corners? I think it would be nice because the entire lens looks distorted and it would somewhat hide the circuits from the naked eye. My concern is if anyone has tried to separate these particular corners before.

I can chose the "black" or "chrome" ones. In the end the internal part will be painted body-color to match the trucks I have.

They happen to be one of the cheapest pairs on sites like eBay (where I found these)

Distorted ones will help hide being able to see the PCBs.

Tried those corners before. Out come was not great.

I would suggest heating them longer then you normally would with stock corners. Then be very careful the plastic is cheap

Can you give any details as to what happened in your experience?

Hmmm...

how long did you cook them for? what temps?

I'm kind of stuck here because I need the distorted cover.

10 minutes at 135 degrees

I would leave them in longer and bump the temp up 20 degrees

Hmmm... yeah that seems really low - I could swear baking almost always takes 200+ degrees. I might be wrong though, I'm not as experienced with cooking like some of you are.
