Bed liners are quite useful if you plan on using and abusing the box of your truck, and if thats the case i recommend you get a bed liner so you dont scratch it up, if you don't plan on using your bed all that much then a bed liner isnt to vital in my eyes

If you are thinking of getting a bedliner, go with a spray-in.

Yes, the are better, but permanent. I got 2 layers of "Rhino Lining" done in my truck. I have some pics on my computer of my bed before I got the rhino lining, it was pretty scratched up and dented all over. I would not recommend the "drop in" liners. I have one actually fly out when I was driving on the highway. That is just my thoughts though.

I have Fords factory bed liner, and it's fine. But the other guys are right, the spray liners are way better.

If you are going to use the bed go with a spray-in. The drop-ins you also have to worry about rust issues that you cannot see from moisture getting trapped under the liner. If you really want a drop in, you can get them cheap on craigslist or even at a JY.

ranger justin is right, water gets under those drop-ins and can rust ur bed. plus those plastic drop-ins are slippers and they fade and bow over time! I bought mine with a spray-in bedliner (glad i didnt have to pay for it!) and i LOVE IT, one of the best features to my truck. IF you do get one, have them spray the top of the bed rails, you WONT regret it! heres the bes pic i have of mine....looks great over the rails

I have had line-x in both my trucks, it is what I recommend. Usually $500 +/- for over the rails with Line-X
