Default 2000 XLT Nerf Bar Recommendations
Hello,

I recently acquired a 2000 XLT. I’m interested in adding nerf bars, but I have no idea where to begin. I’d like something strong, relatively wide, relatively easy to install, and of course, they have to look good.

Might check and see if Westin has something that might work.
I’ve got a set on mine and they work out pretty good, and look pretty good!

Are you looking for an actual step or Rock-sliders with a step feature that actually protects the truck?

If the latter, a Super-slider or Kick-slider would be something to consider.

I know that I asked this long ago, but I’m finally getting around to purchasing the bars. Those kick-sliders that you showed me are very nice, but overkill for me, as the most aggressive driving that I do with this truck is for farm use. My main issue is that passengers (mostly my wife) have trouble getting in and out of the truck, and I like the look of nerf bars.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I’d appreciate it.
