new bumper look

hey guys i have a 1997 ranger xlt and the bumper has 3 parts the metal and two plastic parts

i took the bottom part off just a piece that goes forward and there is a flap hanging down off the radiator and i was thinking about taking that off and seeing how much cleaner that looks

I was wondering if it is ok to take that flap off

I took my valence off too, but don't remember a flap. I prefer the valence gone.

The only problem with taking off the valance is that the holes where the valence attaches to the bumper show, and too me that looks tacky. I even thought about making a metal valance of some sort, in order to cover those holes.

Post a picture of the flap, I don't remember one either.

well i just put the valance back on

it looked bad with all the holes showing
