Yeah I'd never get a plastic over the rail box. They are shitty.

Ugghhh don't do it. I cringe every time I see one.

Splurge for the metal one. I have a Deezee on my truck and I like it. If I was buying another one, I'd go with a Gull Wing. Its kind of warped from the winter, so the closing mechanism is a bit of a PITA sometimes.

I actually found a Kobalt one for $80 so I think I'm going to pick it up tonight, any good tips on paining it black? It looks new, but I would rather have a black one... maybe if I just use the spray on bed liner it would work well

So I just cleaned it up real nice and polished the crap out of it as the aluminum was a little dull from sitting around. Overall, well worth $80.00 it's not big either which I guess is good because I didn't need anything big and I can still use 95% of my bed. I'll post some better pics later on this week when I get my bed rail caps installed.

Rafal

here's a few pics for now (It's not completely attached or anything and little off center):

I like those little shorty boxes I wish i would have found one. Not sure if it would have enough room for me but I like the look.

Did you use the mounting brackets? They guy I bought my box from has a Colorado and the brackets didn't fit. Since my truck is far from showroom I just drilled through the bed.
