Default Did You Remove Your Assist Steps?

Since buying my 2006 Sport SuperCab I have noticed the "assist" steps are pretty useless. In fact I think they make getting out more difficult.

Anyone here take theirs off? Did you regret it for some reason and put them back on?

Yes, mine are gone.

All they do is get your pant cuff dirty.

The truck "looks" a little taller with them off to IMO.

I took them off my 2006 this past weekend. What a pain in the butt. As Markous mentioned, only good for getting your pants dirty.

I think the truck looks better without them. They were too high for the wife to use while getting in anyway. Kids run and jump, so don't use them anyway.

Got rid of them a year ago, no more bruises on my shins. Like how the truck looks without them.
