Default rear sliding right window placement

hello. i bought a replacement for my rear right window from bradsautoglass. comparing the two windows i would say the new one prolly 1-2mm under all around. thing is the rubber seal doesn't cover the window replacement. should i just add urethane on the gap. this is my first DIY so i'm not sure about resealing.

I'm under the impression this is a extra cab side-window and on the passenger side?

First off, if the window isnt the same in size, it could be from either a poor vendor OR its from the wrong year of vehicle.

The rubber seal should fit on the new glass as the old glass. IT IS possible you may need a new molding for that glass, I seem to recall them coming with new molding. I forget where that glass shop is (used to live in Temecula) but I'm sure if you take that old molding down to them and show them that if this is a reusable molding, either your glass is wrong or I need a new molding.

Pics would help too

EDIT:

I just reread your heading. You bought a single pane of glass for a slider window? What year is your truck? I may have a better solution for you altogether.

I see.. unfortunately my simple solution will not work on that new of a truck. Any chance of uploading some pics to fully see whats going on?
