Are they really blue? - if so your asking for a ticket.
I found smaller LEDs seperated out give better results (less hot spots)

yea your asking for a ticket with how blue those look. i got a 10 led strip at pepboys for like 15 bucks and it lights up this well

your missing the point. pepboys = cheap chinese LED crap. If you want good LEDs buy them from an LED supply store.

yeah, those lights are illegal to use. expect a ticket.
also, why didn't you just use a blue bulb in the original location? (above the license plate) would have been more subtle

they're not blue guys, just a slight blue-ish tint to them- i think it was the camera phone pics-- i just wired them up to the stock wires, i'll take some better pics for you's guys
-they're actually high quality LED's, just not super white like some others

Color has nothing to do with quality. Color is due to the doping of the diode.

yea check make sure u have the right voltage going to them, i built some custom head lights for my girlfriends car with leds in it that were suppose to be pink and they were purple when i first tryed them, come to find out the power source i was using to light them wasnt strong enough

I have those same lights but mine aren't that bright and are white work great no ticket

i would think the stock tag light wires would have enough juice going to them, no way im going to splice in a relay or a resistor for these mang, ill take some actual camera pics soon!
