Hello,
I am thinking about installing dual air horns on my ranger, after doing some research I have come up with a few questions that I hope someone with experience will be able to answer.
-Why does practically everyone mount their horns in non visible areas rather than on the trucks roof?
-which brand of horn/tank/compressor is the best in your opinion?
If you have the answers to either question it would be a great help.

The reason most hide them is so they can scare the shit out of someone. Second look at the Viair set up

You don't want rain/snow/bugs/etc. in your air horns.

Also, they don't look as good roof mounted as they might in your imagination.

There should be room between the rad and the grill/front bumper somewhere.
