Re: Repair or replace step or nerf bars?
Yeah, sorry, i've got the filters a little more refined now, some of them keep resetting.
These look interesting (i ruled a few others out based on no fitting kit or reviewers saying the round ones are pretty close to the body)

Re: Repair or replace step or nerf bars?
Nice, it's saving $60 on the set i just picked up.
I'm wonder with the rounded front, if you'll have less issues with rusting at the leading edge. You should be able to spray some Fluidfilm around the front mount after installation to assist protection there.

The rust issue on the front, was due to the cap missing on the front of the step bar when I bought the truck. The flat steel inside the bar was also missing, how I can't figure. Anyway the flat stock, with hole in it, that secures the cap, was welded in, which caused the rust. I'll just get on the new bars earlier, when signs of rust show up.Anyway I'll soon be 68, so npb after that.

Sickening,I have a lot of stuff I would still like to do,Father Time has caught up to us. Oh well,I've had a decent life.Smoked 55 years and drank like a fish for 10 years and alive, to talk about it.

Re: Repair or replace step or nerf bars?
Yeah, they clearly ran smaller washers as the product life went on, even the pics (b&w photos) show slightly larger diameter.
They refunded me $10 if i went and sourced my own.... i'm down with finding hmm, probably about 8 penny washers
I think other than that, they're pretty good, seems good metal work, obviously not got them on yet, rear bracket needs the washers, i'd love to see how the front of yours attach though, i don't know what/how factory hardware attaches, this seems a bit, hmm.
