this. I've taken them apart, but never the newer all plastic ones. I ordered new bumpers, so I've got nothing to go buy, and I dont see anywhere to mount anything on the back..*(likely because they are aftermarket, common prob). I've got the 06-07 upper and lower halves, going on a 99..so should I just order all 06-07 brackets? A pic would help make sense of it all honestly lol

Here are pictures to show the items needed. The 2001-2005 Corner lights are different then the 2006-2010 corner lights

Headlights 2001-2010

Headlight retainers (holds lights onto header panel)

Corner Lights 2001-2005 Will work up to 2010

Corner lights 2006-2010 will work on 2001-2005 as well

2001-2003 Header Panel

2004-2010 Header Panel

2001-2003 Grille Options

2004-2010 Grille Options
First 4 are 2004-2005 Last 4 are 2006-2010 but will all work the the 2004+ conversion

2001-2003 Bumper Options. (will need to swap over bumper brackets)

Hello there I'm pretty new here and I was very interested in swapping my 99 ranger front to a 2001-2003. I have located all the parts needed, however a I had a few questions...
1. will I need to change my hood? I planned on trying to keep it as simple as possible.
2. is there any significant t gaps created after the swap is complete?

The gap isn't real bad as long as you don't go with a honey come grill.

No u can keep your stock hood.
There will be a slight gap between the new honeycomb grille and the lip of the hood..if u have a bug deflector its not noticeable..

Hey guys I was researching a bit further and found that there are two different header panels for a 99 ranger swap to a 2001-2003 front.. I listed the link below, i guess one is suppose to be more narrow than another.. http://www.carid.com/2001-ford-range...s-2243737.html

I don't think that grill will fit my ranger... I was looking to minimize gaps if at all possible. That and I already have a aftermarket head light kit with integrated turn signals.

Yea it is...separately with shipping you would be just over $200..
But that kit doesnt come with the headlight retaining brackets...
