Body Bolt Removal.
So, I'm pulling my cab on my 02 supercab to do a complete drivetrain swap. Sohc quit on me, and will be putting a complete 90k mile driveline in. I've pulled cabs on 6.4's but the bolts are oriented differently. Any tips or advice will be appreciated. I Ave access to an induction heater. I know you guys do body lifts and may have advice. Thanks in advance.

heat the bolt from the bottom. impact out. if the washer spins I have welded a tab of metal on so it hits the frame and stops spinning on last truck I did.

I'd use google to help you find the instructions for the Performance Accessories body lift kit. It's been about 20 years since I did mine on my 98 Ranger but I seem to remember the instructions were very specific on what to take off of where. Might be helpful for you.

Got it done. Didn't realize how similar they were to 6.0 powerstrokes... Body was up, drivetrain swapped, body down and running in 15 hours. (Had to swap harnesses as well. Got a good 90k mile setup in it now!
