Lund sideboard install issue
Hi all,
Still a n00b, as mentioned here, but I finally got around to installing the mentioned Lund Running boards, thanks to the 4 day weekend. I have an issue with mounting, however. Got it all mounted on the side, but the underpinnings are too short. There are slots, but not long enough. So a question for anyone that has mounted a pair of these, are the `93 and the `97 the same set? Can a couple of holes be drilled with a common hand drill? I know it is a shot in the dark, but worth a try...

I did take a peek at the body styles, and they do look exceedingly similar to me.
Maybe the Splash or Stepside models were about 2 inches wider or something, as the bracket is just short by about that much. I reckon a little drilling action will have to take place. Maybe time for some tougher bits! Appreciate the reply, Clinton...
