I am planning to remove the bed to put new rear spring scales and brackets on. I was also planning to undercoat the bottom of the bed and the frame rails. I am trying to figure out how many people I will need to maneuver the bed. I do not have an off the road location to work on the truck so I can not tear it apart and then get stuck with not enough help. I greatly appreciate any answers on the subject.

If you're halfway strong you can do it with 1 other person. I've done it 3 times now on a regular bed without issue.

2 people can move it. It's probably around 300 pounds or so.

If you've never had the fuel pump replaced or don't know the history on it, you may want to consider doing it while the bed is off. It's so much easier.

It is still factory. This was bought new by my father in 2000. It only has 78,000 miles on it, but if they are not too expensive it may be worthwhile
