1989 Ford Ranger Standard - Need help picking paint

Alright I've got a 1989 Ford Ranger S with only 50k miles on it, and me and my dad completely stripped the paint down to the metal because the paint just came right off. We used razors and it just scraped right off... So now it's ready for paint we pulled out all the dents and bumps and we put about 3 coats of primer on it, we may wet sand it back down and put another coat on.

So instead of going to some place to get it painted by people who don't want to be there, we want to paint it ourselves to get it done right. Since this is my first truck I was thinking about painting it and getting some graphics on it.

Colors I had in mind was a very very light blush red looking color, not pink but its like a tiny tint of red, lowest gradient of red. And putting a very shiny metallic steel color as a two-tone.

I feel really stupid with this because I don't really want to grab attention I just don't want people to think it's a crappy color you know? I want something people would like and wouldn't say dayum that kid is gay as fak!


So... I'll post pictures what the truck looks like if anyone wants to see but it's ready for paint and I'm thinking second about the light tone of red, I don't know what I want I just want something cool you know? I'm not going black or grey I want something more colorful that even the ladies would like.
