Default Double sided tape.

Hey guys.

I took the plastic side rails off my ford ranger to take out the bed liner, but have since changed my mind. So I would like to put them back on.

My problem is i can't get the double sided tape off the bed of the truck.

I have tried everything chemical wise i can find at my auto parts store.

goo gone, even a product called trim tape remover with no luck.

here is a pic of what I am talking about

I am open to anything

Thanks

Emil

Have you tried heating it up with hair dryer or something like that? I am sure there is something out there but if you are putting them back on you might get the straight razor out as a last resort...

now I'm gonna go use one of these to get rid of the residue. Or do you guys think since I'm just re installing the rails I can just clean it and re apply the tape?

Thanks again for all your help guys. I really appreciate it.

Emil

Should be able to find them at any auto detailing shop, most hardware stores, or pretty any place that sells paint.

I live in Calgary and seem to see them all the time at Canadian Tire.
