hey all! im new to the ranger world and i have only had it for about a year and a half so im giving the best i can. im looking for a topper and im wondering what toppers/ brands can fit on my bed. ive got the 6ft bed (not the stepside/flareside) and im wondering if i can get one of the A.R.E walk in door toppers, or one of the high rise toppers. im gonna be outfitting the bed of the truck to be more of a camper with a small bed and some cargo space and i want head clearance. i have seen toyota tacomas all around with the high rise toppers and some with the walk ins but im wondering if rangers can do that too.

if i cant get those i was wondering what brand/models would work on the ranger too.

i'm not sure I've ever seen one of those A.R.E toppers you're talking about for a ranger. seen a few utility toppers with a rear door like that. but that's not to say they never made them.

I would say your best bet is to find one used, many different manufacturers made toppers for rangers, but I would bet that with the US ranger being out of production for almost 5 years now that not many manufacturers would be making them new.

I'm not positive ARE makes them both but both of the caps you described exist for rangers, I second that they may not be made anymore being how long that rangers have been out of production. I'd say look at used, most people are practically giving them away compared to new prices. I actually picked up an aluminium stepside cap for free just because it was short a window, with was a $30 fix instead of something like 1300 new, with what you save getting a used one you can easily afford to upgrade it with paint or carpet liner and still save a bundle
