Default Light bar suggestions?

So I'm planning on getting a curved led light bar and I want something that will not be to big for my ranger and places for brackets?

Get these:
http://stores.mcmfablv.com/93-12-for...us-bar-mounts/

You can fit in a huge ass light bar and it is sucked down close to the windshield and looks great if you ask me

Light bars are cheap as hell nowadays so you don't have to spend a lot on the bar itself. I think I bought a 50 dollar bar with these brackets and no problems at all. That's like 150 for everything

What's the difference between a 50 dollar one and a 400 dollar one?

100% agree. As far as performance goes there isn't going to be a difference. I'm sure the cheaper one is more likely to break but who cares? You can go through 10 of the cheap ones before you pay the same amount as one of the Cree ones or other companies

You will tell a difference... Cheap ones use 3watt LEDs at best. The good ones use 10watts bulbs, that's not even getting into reflector optics and lenses. You're insane if you think the cheap crap performs as good as the name brands lol

I can only speak from experience. I had a 50" and 20" Cree bars on a tacoma I haven't noticed any difference between those and the cheap one I have now. Same hood glare so all the bs about different projectors doesn't make a difference if you ask me. And the cheap one is just as bright. So why pay an extra 500 for no added benefits?

Only complaint I have about my china bar is that it wasn't sealed very well and I got some condensation on the "glass". But, that's nothing a hr and some good silicone can't fix.

At this point a fog light bar is a fog light bar. You just have to take a chance with the quality of the cheap bars whether it be condensation, bad wiring causing issues with it working consistently, durability etc. But like people say you can buy 5-10 cheap ones for the same price. Majority of people don't use them enough to know if they would last or not anyway. Minute here, 5 minutes there type of use.

What you will find is cheap bars struggle on distance. There is a big difference between some of the specialized bars when it comes to getting a correct spot beam pattern way out there. Once again though, majority of people aren't getting ready for the baja 500 so......
