hey guys, I have a cap I got thats missing a side window, I was thinking I'd replace it with lexan since its a straight forward rectangular window. My only question is does anyone know how thick automotive tempered glass is so I can get lexan thats as close as possible?

Find a local glass cutter ( mesco glass is good but I'm not sure if it's just a local chain ). I would almost guarantee it will be cheaper than lexan, and won't scratch or haze.

lexan for the size i need is going to be maybe $40, and from what I looked up lexan may scratch but it shouldn't yellow or haze- its UV resistant i thought?
