Fog light projector retrofit
I'm thinking about retrofitting projectors into my stock fog lights since they got water in them once and the reflective finish is ruined but otherwise they're in good shape. Originally I was looking at getting these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MFTGQA...=ILOC69UFL9F7F but now I'm wondering if I would be better off using the fog light projectors from a Fusion. What do you guys think?

Re: Fog light projector retrofit
Looks like you will be missing bulbs, ballasts, wiring, relays etc.
Buy this instead. It's what I put in my fogs, very happy with them. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...x-stage-3.html I just need to do the fog light mod so the fogs don't turn off on high beam....

Doesn't look like I have any on my photobucket, I will see if I have any on my home system. If I don't I can always take some when I am there.

that would be great if you could. I've been thinking about doing this. It should be a fairly easy build for a first timer like me.

Re: Fog light projector retrofit
I was pretty much gonna get the projectors then get everything else I needed along the way. I have an HID kit for my fog lights currently but depending on what bulb the projector takes I might not be able to use them again

Sorry, I was slacking.
It's kind of dirty right now, doesn't get driven a lot.
They were pretty easy to put in, just had to trim the back of the housing a little bit. As you can tell, I painted mine black. I would also skip the halo's. More wiring, and mine didn't last. I think the heat build up may have done them in, in that small space. As for the lights, I love them. Fords design on removing the housing was dumb...

Very nice! Thanks for posting. Luckily the 01-03 housing is a pretty easy to pull a part.

I prefer the looks of the round, but I have what I have. These were easy to get apart, just not easy to get out!

Care to share any details/pics on the headlights? Or is there a thread somewhere that I missed with these items?
