Default Sleeping in Ford Ranger Bed question

I currently own a 1992 f150 with a camper shell and very frequently sleep in the bed of my truck on camping trips. I am 6 foot 2, and am just looking for some insight, because I am very possibly buying a ranger in the near future. Being that I am 6 foot 2, in your opinion, could I even fit laying down in a ranger bed. I would just go lay down in a ranger bed to find out, but I dont know anyone that has one. Any opinions would be well appreciated. Thank you.

If you sleep straight as a board then you'd have to be diagonal. IIRC the small bed for the ranger is 6 ft.

In my opinion, you will be fine to sleep in it. Either go diagonal or curl up a bit.

I'm 6'4" and have slept in mine a couple of times... it's cozy lol. But doable, just sleep at an angle.

At the dealer u go dont be shy to get into the bed and lay there. The dealer is not shy to try to give you the highest price for it.

Im 6'1 and i have the 72"x54" bed in a 92 with a camper shell and i can lay down quite comfortably. just need to lay a little crooked or with knees bent. Ive slept in much worse, and i would sleep in mine in a heartbeat if it were fully waterproof!

My girlfriend and I sleep frequently in the bed on camping trips. It's snug for sure. But doable, we even took our dog once. To keep it comfy, I put down a piece of plywood cut to length, then got some egg crate foam pretty cheap from a garage sale. And on top of that we use a sleeping bag unzipped and then what ever cover you want depending on the season. (Pretty sure I have a photo of a couple set ups in my photos) If you've got a shell, you can even hang lights and get yourself a golf cart battery to power them and an inverted if you're so inclined

Good luck and happy camping.

A twin size air mattress also fits perfectly in the bed of a Ranger

Maybe be shorter? I'm 5'9" and fit perfectly. Also, blankets and blankets and blankets if you have a drop in bed liner.
