leer and ARE camper shell prices?

I am looking into getting a new leer or ARE camper shell just the basic color matched one (maybe with roof rack depends on price) was wondering about how much the going rate is for one of those new if you got pictures post em.

Is buying new and those brands your only option ?
I listed a perfect 2yo black shell on Craigslist made by Century for $150 and had no takers.
Finally gave it away...needed it gone.

Where are you in Illinois? I'd sell mine, can't remember if it is an ARE, Leer or who made it... literally I forgot what the tag said and I pulled it off a few years ago.

If you're gonna pay for New do yourself a favor and get one that the side Windows open from the outside, like the rear window. Best damn option I've ever seen and not common, makes accessing the bed so much easier.

idk what prices are there, but here you can pick up a used one in great shape for nothing. In almost every color except black. I cant find black cause its the one I need lol.

Toppers are pretty outrageously priced new. I would expect to spend $1,200+ at any local topper place. May be different where you're located but I doubt it's by much. Pretty low standard of living in KY so we tend to have cheaper prices on commodities. Saying that I doubt a forum is the best place to research prices for this. I would go to my local yellow pages first. Good luck!
