DIY Bed liner
I just got done doing a bed liner in a truck i am restoring for a friend. It is http://www.alsliner.com/. I cannot recommend it enough. I have done Hurculiner(garbage), had line-x done, rhino done and i really like this so far. It goes on from thick and lumpy all the way to as smooth at a very orange peally paint job. I have no idea on wear factors but from others experiaces, they say it wears better than rhino, close to a line-x.
here are some pics

Re: DIY Bed liner
wow man, great job on the resto, you do good work! nice color choice too. i see you went with the older style round headlights too. what year is the truck? i saw it had the square headlights on it in an earlier pic. my dad has a 76 F-250 longbox, i love love love that truck. that is by far my favorite ford truck body style.

Re: DIY Bed liner
Rockin project. Makes me want to head out to the garage and play!
I'll be getting an applied bed liner soon and Al's definitely looks like the best DIY kit. I'm a bit leery of the spraying though. I do have some experience with rattle cans and air brushes but haven't ever sprayed anything large scale on a car/truck. How difficult would you say Al's is to spray on? Got any tips or advice? (I know all the basics like mask everything within a mile radius and preparation preparation preparation, I'm talking more about the application itself)
btw, I was considering Herculiner as well, why the thumbs down?

Hurculiner is just crap. It does not adhere well at all, and it wears right off. I put it in 2 different trucks and i will never again even consider it.
Spraying the liner on simple! Just dump the liner into the gun and do a test shot on a cardboad box to get the correct texture. Just adjust air pressure and the knob on the gun. Just start to spray and do a tin coat, you can always come back to do more. You can roll or brush it on as well but i do not think it would come out as well
