Default Aftermarket Fog suggestions?

I am wanting to get my dad's truck aftermarket fog lights for his truck as he has an 02 with the xlt valence with indents but not cutouts for fogs.

I have seen how some people have put in LED lights in there, and was wondering how well those work and how they did that.

The only limiting factor is money, and my budget is about $20 - $30

Just a mild suggestion, Since it is Michigan, front license plates are not required. Take advantage of putting a 10"-20" Flood pattern SR (single row) series LED bar inside the center of that bumper opening all the while removing that unused license plate frame just being used to trouble you with cleaning around it.

Keeps things simple, no need for cutting or hacking holes and having to fab up mounts that may lead to other issues. It will look clean and function as needed when needed. Since you're looking more for a fog light pattern or possibly "yellow" lighting itself possibly. There are lenses that can be swapped in favor of JUST a fog light function. You will have to aim the light in a way that puts the hottest spot of the light so it shines down in that 30'-45' depth on the ground to get the light on the ground. If its more of a driving light pattern, flood will still work but you may have some issues with local authorities if the light is too bright or aimed to high in general.

I'd post a suggestion more directly but I have not received specific permissions from @dministration directly here.
