Well, I ran into an issue.

I think I have to take off the "spring hangers"? to remove the 4 bolts that are sticking up in the truck bed. Take a look at this video and let me know if you see an easier way. I have no idea how to remove the spring hangers. I'll be googling that later, but any tips would be helpful!


Pretty frustrating.

That is Not stock and someone else put that on your truck.Normaly you would just remove the six torx bed bolts from the top that are holding on your bed to the frame and then the three small screws that hold the filler neck to the bed side and then unhook the electrical plug back near the rear bumper and the bed will just lift off of the frame.

Take a grinder and cut the bolts smooth with the bed. Done.

Also that bracket is held on by the 4 bolts in the frame. Take those out and the whole thing should come down. You shouldn't have to even mess with the 4 sticking up.
