I am looking to buy a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT, supercab, 4dr, 3.0L V6 from my fiance's brother. Before I do there are some parts I need to buy to make it the way I need. I was wondering if you guys knew where I can get a new tailgate and hardware, a new rear sliding window and a bed cap that is solid with no windows, that opens in the back and is the same hieght as the cab. Try car-part.com and craigslist. If its 2wd it has coils up front unless its an edge which I dought because you said it was an XLT. If its 4wd it has tortion bars up front. All Rangers have leafs in the back.

Ok, I found the rear glass sliding window and tailgate from a used car part place near me. But does anyone know of a good place to get the solid bed cap?

How about a local place that sells caps or custom truck accessories. they may have trade ins or a line on something that'll fit your needs.
