Why what type?

If you are talking about the yellow wide angle diffusion lense it is because I wanted something I could use as a super hi-beam when on country roads. Yellow doesn't reflect as harshly off of fog or street signs, and the wide angle allows me to see the sides of the road, so I can spot Bambi before he even leaves the treeline. These will also light up the road in front of me farther than my headlights or hi beams, and If I really need distance I've got 4 KC Daylighters on the roof

I'll second the hids. I have 2 sets of the "eBay" spotlights. 1 set of 4 inch (roof of my jeep) and 1 set of 7 inch. They are crazy bright! They were brighter and threw light farther than my buddies 50 light bar. I had the 4 inch ones mounted to hood light tabs until the driver tab broke and took them off.

Keep them coming, still leaning the most toward bigger middle and smaller outside ones, not sure what lights to get though

If you are going to do a pair of big/small, I would suggest doing 2 spots in center and 2 wide on the sides. Get a good pattern

I personally have KC Daylighters for spotlights. They're bright and they'll reach out plenty far, but I have never compared them to say a Hella or PIAA light. My wide lights are a pair of Lightforce 170s with diffusion lenses. They are very expensive but the output is fantastic. I scored mine on CL for half the retail cost.

You don't necessarily need top name either; I have 4 LED flood lights on my truck that are "Tuff LED" brand off of amazon and they are very well built and the output is incredible. Definitely better than expected considering I only paid $90 for the set

I did look into kcs a bit, a lot more then hellas but maybe worth it

I really want to do the 6.5" hella 500 black magics( the smokey black tint would match my black trim) in the middles, just not sure of any good quality 6" for the outsides that would match
