Default Lights to see truck bed and behind truck

I am looking to put some lights in the bed of my ranger. Either a light bar or smaller Cree work lights. I go fishing a lot and end up loading the boat onto the trailer in the dark most nights. I want something that will light up behind me so I can see to load the boat as well as lights up the bed of my truck if possible. I don't want to put a head ache rack on though. Anybody have any ideas to how or where I could mount lights?

Different truck but same idea. Mount some cubes angled out. You would just have to see if you could get them up and out of the way on a ranger

Or you could actually buy the flush mount lights and mount them in your rear bumper.

Thanks that's a pretty cool idea, I was thinking somewhere in the box but that just might work.

Installed these last night and they work great. I have no idea where to put the switch though. I would like it to be in the cab, everywhere I try to put it there ends up being a metal plate behind. Any ideas?

Get an explorer bezel for around your radio... it has an extra switch for something... wipers? Along with a 3 way push switch for wipers that takes the place of the cig lighter plug on the right. That will have to be cut open but it isn't too hard, as for switches just find a second fog switch to put in the others place...

Just came to mind: if you don't have fogs, just get a bezel with a fog switch.

Expo bezel:

That is put of a 2wd expo with fogs and the button in the middle is the one I am replacing the non fog one with for aftermarket lights.

My factory one looks like this btw:

Thanks, I might have to look into that if i put in future lights. I ended putting it in the pillar by the door as that was the only place I could find and didn't have much time to get it done.

Here is what it looks like. Switch isn't my favorite but it was the only one I could find that would fit

Id use something more like this.. Lesser expensive to replace or upgrade..

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ging-kit/2318/

A lot less power used, and if its programmable for the RGB, Using red lighting at night will be less obvious and retain night vision for those possible night fishing outing's.

Just my $ .02
