Default Lift option questions for 2wd

Hello! This is my first post so please forgive me if I make an error. I found this on Amazon and I was wondering if this would work on my 2008 ford ranger XLT 2wd. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BEN...=AC_SX200_QL40
Will I need anything else other than this? Has anybody used this item? Will it fit? Are there any better options for my ranger? Or should I get a body lift? I want an easy lift that allows for 31 inch tires or higher. Also are there any how to threads on how to do these lifts? I don't off road much. Thanks again and sorry if I have made a mistake in this post!

Yep, it'll bolt right in. May need to grind on your lower control arm some to be able to turn full lock, but that's all the "modification" required to run those. I run the same setup and love it.

Do you have any pictures I could see? And this may be a stupid question but how would I grind the lower control arm? Did you install it and was it hard? Lots of questions haha! Thanks for the quick response!

Pictures of the truck? that's with 4" spindles, 2" shackles, and 1" block.

Here's a how to thread: How To: 3" Doetsch Spindle Install he even covers the grinding part.

The install is stupid easy.

There is a how to in the "how to" section somewhere. Quickest way to find it is to search google for "lift spindle install ford ranger forum"

EDIT: Yeah, what Jacob said.
