Kinda..but the CrewCab Ranger came first, before the Explorer Sporttrac...

Which really is messed up, cuz the reason they dont sell the crewcab ranger in the US is because it doesn't meet the crash/roll regulations.....but the explorer sporttrac does...thats f'd up.

No its not that easy to import one...and its called a VIN number..thats how they know its a Mexican vehicle...lol

Id say if you had nothing but time and money go for it, but wouldn't it be easier to just but a fullsize truck and not risk messing up a complete truck?

Thanks for all the ideas everyone, I appreciate it. Certainly more work than originally anticipated, which is why I was curious. I'd really like to keep the truck for a long long time and don't want to trade it out. I'd be happy to give up the space my toolbox takes up for a couple of small bucket seats (facing in). The tricky part seems to be fabricating a top that looks decent and has a door, windows, ect. A good point someone brought up is the legality factor. Anyone know how easy it is to install new seats with belts that are legal? Say, pulled from a pick-n-pull place?
