I am thinking of putting a 3" body lift on my 89 2.9 4x4.. i know there is probably a thread on here for it but i couldnt find it... what if anything will need to be moved/extended under the hood before or after the lift is installed.... someone please point me in the right direction...

Should be shifter linkages, bumpers, steering shaft maybe, and filler neck.

What is the filler neck?

goes between the gas cap and the tube to the tank. with a higher body you'll need a longer filler neck.
