A person on the local Craigs list has a set of OEM Ford Ranger ext cab step bars for sale. Will they mount up to my 2004 Ford Ranger ext cab?

What's the difference between the OEM and aftermarket ones?

Do you know if they come off a 2 door ext cab or 4 door ext cab? They will need to match to what ext cab you have.

I will find out tomorrow. Are the OEM bars worth mounting up? Do you know how they mount?

Open driver door pull back carpet or vinyl flooring

You will see a huge rubber grommet. Remove the grommet.

Now is the tricky part you gotta get the bolt into one of those holes

No, rear brackets are different.

get them! I will mail you the correct brackets and you can mail me your rear brackets, lol. I got the wrong ones, but I don't know how... I have 2 door rear brckates and need the 4 door brackets.

Should be a part number stamped on the bracket

The step bars on craigslist are for a extended cab 2dr or 4dr

what cab configuration do you have extended cab 2dr or 4dr

I have the ext cab 2 door.....2004 4x4 Ranger.

The guy wants 60.00 for them and they are like new. I just want them for some extra looks for my truck.

Okay but the truck they are coming off is it ext cab 2dr also. If not they wont fit.
