He thinks they came off a 2 door but is not sure.

There was another guy in this thread that mentioned something about swapping brackets with him. Is that possible?

Thanks for your time and help, it's much appreciated!

Ya FX4 got bars with 2dr brackets and need the 4dr bracket just the rear is different.

Better pictures of the rear bracket would help.

I'm going to buy them and if all else fails FX4 and I can swap brackets. Do you happen to know the length of the nerf bars?

This guy is telling me they are 66 1/2 at the longest points.

yeah the rear bracket is a 2 piece deal, you should try getting hold of the guy that sold it to you and see if he just unbolted the wrong thing.... he might have the other part still bolted to the truck

I called him and that's all their is. I guess I'll have to seek out the missing part. Would you consider getting rid of the brackets you have?

The correct part numbers for the brackets for a 4door are
YL5216485CAA
and
YL5216484CAA

according to another post on here.

I might look small and yes, I'm a chick, but I shoot, throw, hit, and hunt. I highly suggest you don't mess with my truck!

They can be found on ebay for 125-150 plus shipping

not to bump up a super old thread but figured I'd ask. I see that there are auctions on ebay for 2007+ standard cab OEM ford step bars. Does this mean they would fit on a 2001 Standard cab Ford Ranger?

Or did things really change over the years? I ask mainly because you can't find OEM factory step bars from 2001.

thanks,
