95 -> 02 Stepside bed.
Just to confirm one last time before I drop $125 on this bed: A 1995 Stepside Ranger bed will fit a 2002 Ranger without any problems?
Any tips for repainting? I'm gonna do bedliner on the inside, probablly just leave the bottom black.
What kind of paint should I use?

Yes that bed swap should work,
Should be 6 bed bolts, ask the guy before you go meet the guy, and also just check in person.

Gettin' it from the junkyard. Already got a good hard look at it. Only real issue is no tailgate and a small crack in the fiberglass.

Re: 95 -> 02 Stepside bed.
For future searches, ALL flareside beds are exactly the same from 93 all the way up until they stopped making them in 05/06. Bed bolts might be different but that would be the only difference.

==================
If your goin from fleetside to flareside, be sure to get the fuel filler neck hose, as they are different between the two beds, and EXPENSIVE ($200-400) if available.

I remember the hose still being there so I think I'm good! Why so expensive, jeesh!

I have bed liner in mine that I pulled out and I took the wire brush on grinder and went to town. I went to the factory primer and where I had rust was from the bee liner rubbing the paint off, I went down to the metal and primered it. Then I went to town with rustoleum paint. For the outside of the bed when the fiber glass sides are off I just wet sanded the sides of the bed and painted them semi gloss black.
