Default rear window

......So, My '03 has a bolt-in rear window? (trim around it is thin and hard-plastic) NOT a THICK, wide rubber gasket.........

IF I remove it (flat glass) CAN I replace it with an earlier SLIDER with the wide rubber gasket?

Yes, you need to use the correct model years 'bolt in' rear glass frame.
I recently replaced my rear glass and the bolts help to hold the frame in place while the structural urethane cures.
