If you use the mounts that screw Into the roof, then drill another hole for the wires. And use a grommet and some silicone.

I have all of my parts in... light bar, mcm roof mounts, wiring kit... I'm gonna put everything in on saturday. I'm gonna drill a hole thru the roof and use a rubber grommet. What should I look for when getting the grommet? My wiring from the light bar is 5/16"... should I get a grommet the same size or should I get a grommet a little bit bigger and fill it with black silicone sealant? I have a grommet in the garage that is 5/16 and it's a very snug fit... should I get rely on it creating a water tight seal?

What is the height that light sits at above the roof, or can the mounts be used lower in the door jam areas so I could move the light down and forward enough to clear 3.25"?

I have to clear at least 3.125, I think 3.25 may touch the flip-pac. Otherwise im left to getting creative for a curved 40" still... I may still have to consider the 40" curved due to keeping room for a snorkel kit.
