I think I'm going to stick with an after market f150 tow mirror. Think it might end up being easier and looking better.

It might but don't want to be putting chevy parts onto it. Very picky with what goes onto it and how it's fitted.

Sir I must say, that may be the most badass ranger I've ever seen. Its now on my bucket list of things to do with a ranger.

Lol might be hard finding the parts to do it unless you make them yourself.

Better question GLH is, why does your ranger NOT have one?

Hate to bump an old thread. But I've had a burning sensation to put on f150 tow mirror....or maybe f250 tow mirrors.

wasn't expecting someone to tell me to do it. Lol. I can get my hands on a set. My only issue in worried about is the angle of the plastic piece that sits against the door.

Good point.
I once put a Goldwing fender on a 62 Sportster.
The Harley Gods were not amused.
Now I cant straighten my right arm completely.

Okay some actual stuff. Personally I like tow mirrors as long as they have a purpose. They do look a bit like Dumbo though

From what I have figured out you would have a better chance of putting f150 LD tow mirrors on over the f250 HD mirrors. The f150 is about an inch taller and wider where it mounts to the door and I think sticks out either 3 or 4 inches farther then stock powered mirrors. So it shouldn't look completly goofy when they are on.

I figured the 06 body style f150 toe mirrors would look best. I could always trim them down with a dremel

You should be able to see them coming from all angles with some big ass tow mirrors.
