Re: How to disable abs...it gives me problems
One more whack at the horse coming right up.
ABS can be an annoyance if you are not used to it, however, the reason i got my ranger could have been completely avoided had i had ABS on my Old Truck, Brakes locked up and i T Boned a guy who had run his stop sign. Had I had ABS, i could have avoided the collision, but with no ABS and the wheels locked up, all I could do was hold on tight and brace for impact. My Two Bits, keep it on, take it in and have it checked to make sure sensors are good, etc. if you dont like how it corners theres not much you can do, 2wd RWD trucks turn MUCH tighter then the same truck with a 4x4, smaller tire size might help as you might get more turn out of the steering before your tires rub/lock. As for braking, drive smart, keep your foot out of it and watch your surroundings, brake gently for easy slow downs, it saves not only the life of your brake system but also can help with fuel consumption.
